When my mother developed Alzheimer’s disease, I had no idea what to expect. I just had to learn as I went along.

I think most people are in the same situation. We don’t know what we should be doing. We worry if we are doing the right or wrong thing or if we should be doing anything at all.

Each stage is different. What works today doesn’t necessarily work tomorrow. It changes as each new situation arises.

My hope is that, by reading this blog, you will be able to benefit from some of the things I have learned over the years in dealing with my mother and others with dementia.
